Mr. Mohammad Saeed started to collect the goat offal from the lands of Kashmir and got them processed in Multan and Karachi for the purpose of exporting them to Germany. This offal included sheep intestines to be processed for Sausages in Europe. It was his vision that Pakistani animals possess the quality which no other animals had and their offal could be delicacies in the global world.
Mr. Mohammad Hussain, one of the sons of Mr. Saeed, migrated to Germany for a couple of years to learn the new trends of European Sausage Market in order to develop supplies from Pakistan.
Mr. Mohammed Hussain came back to Karachi this year and with immense support from his wife, Mrs. Kauser Hussain, he started to market the Pakistani Sheep intestines to the European and Far Eastern World. The business story of this couple started with an office in their own home, developing marketing letters on an aged typewriter, introducing and explaining the world about the quality of sheep intestines and their use for food processing specially Sausages. The legacy left by Mr. Saeed was now turning into a major exporting product from Pakistan.
Mr. Hussain developed his own processing area in Karachi and the journey of export restarted with a greater vision. This was not possible without the support from Mrs. Kauser Hussain, who made sure to save inch and penny so Mr. Hussain could build his own processing area to produce quality Sheep intestines (Casings) for the purpose of export to the world.
Mr. Mohammad Hussain did his first export to Germany and the journey of success started. He founded a company Messrs. Mohammad Saeed Mohammad Hussain and enthusiastically converted his profession into a processor and exporter of Sheep Intestines.

Mr. Mohammad Hussain built the very first internationally acclaimed Sheep Intestines (casing) Factory in the SITE area Karachi. This was the first Offal processing unit in Pakistan matching the standards of the international world. This was the beginning of the offal export industry from Pakistan which now is developing into a major exporting hub for this product. Though Mr. Hussain’s major focus was only on Sheep intestines the trend of processing the offal into the healthy and safe product was his creation in Pakistan and hence Mr. Hussain is widely recognized as the Founding Pioneer of Pakistan’s offal industry.

This was also the year when Mr. Faisal decided to let go of the reins of MSMH to other family members to ensure that all his attention is focused on TOMC and the expansion of the TOMC business.
TOMC made its first export of mutton meat by road in the month of March, whereas in 2011 TOMC also achieved various other landmarks including developing the first beef meat deboning processing facility in Pakistan.
